Done with Choice of Agent. Which route is next?

Hey,

I just completed my choice of agent and payed my AOS fees today. I had few questions regarding what the next step will be.

  1. I know AOS fees will be processed and then I can send AOS documents. Do I need to wait till AOS fees are process for that or can I mail them already?
  2. How do I know if my case is Pivot or not?
  3. Does my way of sending documents depend on pivot? Means if its not Pivot then I have to mail or else upload online? Does that apply to both AOS and Civil Documents?
  4. Is there anything I can do right now while I wait for AOS fees to process and IV fees to be generated?

Thanks!

Hi there.

I order to send AOS and supporting documents, both fees have to be shown as PAID.

Call NVC in order to be sure on whether you're pivot or not (CEAC has been down for 12 days and a couple of non pivot cases recently changed to pivot).

Pivot= upload documents online

Nonpivot = mail documents to NVC

What you can do for now is to make sure all documents are ready and translated if needed

Good luck x

I sent our AOS and IV package before I fill out the Ds-260 form but NVC did not scan it until DS-260 is completed. Ours is non pivot. NVC received AOS and IV package on 4/26, scan date 4/30 ( the day I completed DS-260). Best wishes
