I do have the feeling he wants to come to USA. right so basically he wants a GC hence his persistence

I told him if want to come to USA why just apply for visa for college and study here in the USA. he probably both cannot afford to study here and cannot get a visa

I told him I am not rich. I am struggling myself.

I don't understand why is it hard to find love. Why some guys like to play games. I don't understand what happen to true love.  to better their life/the lives of their family by moving to the USA

you should know, many foreigners think all americans are rich, no matter if you tell them it is expensive here or you are struggling, so he probably does not believe you

I mean you know it yourself, he is most likely a scammer. I would not contact him anymore, better yet, block him from social media and his number

The sad part I took 11 years off the internet and didn't engage in any human contact and just focus on me. But the older I get I feel like I will never experience love.

I think people need to just come out and be straight forward on what they want.

Ok. The best thing I could do is just block him and move on.

The guy is 18 years younger than me. He was the one that contact me and kept contacting me. We have not met in person. I do question him a lot on what he pick me or why he want to pursue a relationship with me even the age different. I even told him I can't just marry anyone for a green card. I am not going to waste my time I told him. He keep showing me on face time how poor he is and is not happy in his country. He don't practice his religion. I am catholic. The amazing part he dress just like a New Yorker with his style just like the guys here in New York City.

Would age difference be a problem?

Would I be making a mistake of marrying him?

I don't care what religion or color you are .. if I like the person I like the person.

I suggest to to read again your words. You are asking immigration advice to marry someone you haven't met in person and a person who you are not sure of his intentions... How he dresses is the least thing to be in love of someone.

No one is going to tell you if this is a mistake or not but if you are already questioning that to yourself then I suggest you to think if you are doing it for the right reasons. For what I read, he's a nice stranger who treats you with kindness and you like that. Do you think that's enough reason to get married?

Also, yes, for embassies likes Morocco (high fraud countries) age difference might be a problem, not having enough incomes might be a problem because you need to prove that you can support yourself and you spouse until he's able to work at the US, and is also a requirement to met in person before filling, can you pay a ticket to Morocco to meet him and discover if this is "true love"? Those are the questions you need to answer yourself.

It’s not easy to find „the one“. But don’t settle for less than you deserve! It seems you are in a vulnerable state at the moment. Do yourself a favor and do not engage in any communication with this guy anymore!

OK.

I even told the guy if he is serious he should do everything and come to me.

I guess its time for me to end all communication with him.

Thank you all..

This sounds like a classical scam honestly.

Is he also better looking objectively? Are you obese? If so, you checkmarked all of the marks of a romance victim.

if he is poor, how can he afford the clothes? he is getting money from old desperate western women, that's how/.
