Available Interview Appointments

Hi All-

Does anyone have any patterns they have seen personally or know of for when available interview slots become available? Currently, for my fiance's consulate in Madrid there are no available appointments. The only available appointment was tomorrow which wouldn't work due to our medical not being completed yet, which you can only book when you have your interview slot reserved.

We have just been doing throughout the day but any commons trends/patterns that have been noticed would be great for a little peace of mind! Thanks in advance!

He should be able to do his medical without the interview booked. When I did it I did have my appointment booked but nobody asked me anything about when or if I had it booked!

I would recommend he just call and try to get an appointment anyway, so he can have the very first slot once it opens!

Unfortunately, when he called this morning they asked for his interview date and was advised to wait even though he said they were very nice. I think now that he's called they will anticipate him have the interview date when they see him. Did you have the situation of no available appointments through the portal at all?

My best advice is just book whatever slot is available.  Get the medical over with.  And keep logging in for any available embassy appointments.

No, sorry. When I booked my interview there were plenty available dates for 3 weeks...

Lucky! I wish that was the situation, I think this time of year is just busy in general with tourist visas and such. Hopefully, within the next few days we get to see some available dates! Thank you for the input!
