Hey everyone! just wanted to update: Case was changed to ready on Sept 7th still no email or anything from the embassy... Wishing everyone all the best of luck on this journey! 

I-129F Submitted: 16 January 2018 | NOA1 Received: 26 January 2018 | NOA2 Received: 02 August 2018 | NVC Received: 16 August 2018 | Consulate Received: 07  SEP 2018 | Medical: 24 SEP 2018 | Interview: 28 SEP 2018 | VISA in Hand: 23 OCT 2018 | POE: 10 NOV 2018 :joy:

 

Days between NOA1 until VISA in hand: 270

We just got our case number!   NOA2: 7th August NVC received: 21st August  Case number assigned: 22nd August   😊

Same here. Changed to READY on 07 sep and no email from the Embassy yet

09/10/18 - Case at NVC/Case # Received

10/03/18 - Medical Appointment

10/17/18 - Interview Appointment

10/23/18 - Issued

xx/xx/18 - Visa on Hand

10/30/18 - POE to USA

My bank's letter didn't show deposits from the past year because their format wouldn't allow it.

June 2016: We started writing to each other

June-July 2017: Met in person in the US for our first anniversary

December 2017 - January 2018: Met again in the US and got engaged

01/09/2018: I-129F sent to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox via FedEx

01/16/2018: Received NOA1 (NOA1 notice date: 01/11/2018)

June-July 2018: Met in person in Singapore and Australia for our second anniversary

08/03/2018: Notice date on our NOA2 (updated in USCIS's new website on August 6)

08/15/2018: Our case reached NVC

08/22/2018: Received NVC case number

09/04/2018: Our package left NVC (arrived 9/11, and she sent packet 3 that day)

09/20/2018: Received packet 4; scheduled interview

10/30/2018: Interview - told that we're approved!  Now waiting to receive the visa...
11/27/2018: Port of Entry at BWI

12/1/2018: Our wedding!

12/8/2018: Filed AoS on the way to our honeymoon (12/8-15/2018)
6/~7/2019: EAD and AP approved
09/25/2019: AOS interview in Orlando -- approval and green card!

Next step, June 2019: Filing I-751

 

Note: My wife is a Singaporean.  She moved to Australia before we met and got permanent residency there.

@Amnazaid Asalaam alikoum! My fiancé is in Abu Dhabi originally from Pakistan and we will be interviewing in Islamabad as well. Let’s keep each other updated where we are at in the process. We are waiting on NVC case number I have all documents  for affidavit of support bank statements, etc just need to book medical and interview...come in case number 😊😊😊

Heyy ws..!! I am also at nvc..! We are waiting for case #.. i have also transfer my case from saudia to pakistan..!

Ugh that’s frustrating! Just keep calling them every few days! That’s what the guy I spoke to advised me to do!

hi guys, i was told to take my documents to my embassy they kept them and gave me an interview date for the the 13th of September. has anyone else encountered that ? i was under the impression that you take your documents when you go for the interview.
