Hello everyone I got approved on 8/17 and I still have not received my NOA2 in the mail and uscis said I have to wait 30 days after being approved to file and inquiry from not receiving the NOA2 hard copy 😩😩☹️☹️☹️

That is pretty odd, Have you verified on the uscis and does it show as approved? If that is the case please call the USCIS- I got mine within 3 days of approval.

Yes they even told me the case is already at the NVC.

Have just booked my medical for middle of October - London K1ers - there were earlier dates available, so doesn't seem that there is a long wait list. Hopefully by this time I'll have been able to book my interview too.

Has anyone heard about your case being in ready status, but when you show up for the interview they say you need to reschedule because they haven't received the petition yet?  This happened to a friend of my fiancee...

Timeline

Just called NVC and got to talk to someone within 5 minutes. I was asked for my case number and approval date (Aug 24 NOA2). She said the case is not currently at the NVC and it said it could take up to 6 weeks for them to receive it (though I have read that this is just the standard thing they say). Will keep trying to call and get a case number this week.  Hopefully this information is helpful for someone.

My NOA2 is Aug 23 and I called as well and she stated they have not received the case. I am waiting until 7am my time to contact USCIS at I see if they have sent it to NVC yet! Good luck and keep me posted

It can happen but rarely. Just reschedule, no harm done. Doesn't effect the visa approval one way or another.

OK, thanks!  We are just nervous as we don't want that to happen to us since she doesn't live in Manila and I live in the USA and flights are expensive. Ours interview is 19 days after our status has changed to ready so we should be ok I think.
