Finally received our police certificate and ready to schedule the interview, however we are moving so on Saturday the address on the police certificate is our old address... Put our new address on the DS-160. Does anyone know if this is this going to invalidate the police certificate??? Very worried

You're over thinking the process. The Embassy doesn't care how many times you have moved within your country. Go with what is now which is your new current address.

Hello guys! No update on either new or the old site. I had requested a service request ticket yesterday. They had asked me to wait for 10 business days and call back If I did'nt hear back. Today out of extreme anxiety I called - the lady said as a matter of fact she can see that my application was approved. They have ordered the printing of the letter as of today.  I am super happy and hoping what she said was in fact true.
Receipt date- 5th Feb 2018 - Old site, 9th Feb new site:
NOA 2 - Verbal confirmation 9/5/2018

What is the next step? Any suggestions?

First, don't begin calling for 10 business days after you get your text message (NOA2). Second, you will need the Petitioner's and Beneficiaries full name and date of birth.

Call 603-334-0700 or 603-334-0888 Be prepared for a wait. Tell the operator that you are requesting a case number for your K-1. They will ask for the receipt number located on the left top of your I-797 (NOA2) form. Then he/she will either tell you that they have not received your case or you will be asked for the names and date of birth. If they don't have the case, you will be told it can take 30 to 45 days for them to receive it and to wait however many days/weeks and call back. That's a pad answer so ignore it. You can call back the next day or as often as you want. NVC's hours are 7am to 12 am (midnight) eastern time. Monday through Friday except Federal Holidays. Calling early at 7 am on the dot will get you in the fastest or calling late the lines to be open most often.

When you have your case number, enter it here https://ceac.state.g...ker/status.aspx and it will tell you one of three things... At NVC, In Transit, or Ready.

And last but not least Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Finally received case # from the NVC today!😅

(NOA2 received 08/15)

Next steps for my specific embassy anyone?? 😁🙃

And some information provided by someone who received their visa in the DR.

After waiting for "something" finally on August 3, 2018 the Embassy at Santo Domingo notified us by email that we that we could start filing DS-160 and scheduling  VAC  and Consulate Appointments.  As stated before in these forums the Santo Doming Embassy does not mail packet #3.  However we expected some kind of notification by "snail" mail but got the email instead.  Still in doubt that the package was received electronically since NVC sent it on July 24 and the info was updated on July 25 with status Ready.  Now the CEAC shows that the case was updated on August 6.

Since both medical exam providers  Consultorios de Visa and Servicios Médicos Consulares list the appointment sheet (Hoja de Cita)   as a prerequisite you must schedule your appointments on the ustraveldocs.com/do website.  In order to do that you need the DS-160 confirmation number.

As stated in these forums be very VERY careful on creating your ustraveldocs (aka https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/applicanthome)  profile.  I won't spout the whole rant about the website.  Be mindful of two caveats: 1) Type the email exactly as it is.  One small typo will cause you not to receive anything since the profile will be created without the system validating the email first.  2)Never create more that one profile just to check out website user interaction.  I did both mistakes and had to call ustraveldocs and request that all 3 profiles (the first I created, the one with the typo in the email and the one with the correct email) be merged since I used the same beneficiary's data.  The system checks that and won't let you pay and schedule your appointments.  VAC appointment is on the last week of August and Embassy in mid-September.  After we are done I will be updating our timeline.

Once we passed that hurdle we managed to fill and file DS-160 print in PDF the confirmation page.  We also printed in PDF the DS-160 already filled and filed.  By this week we hope to complete the medical and all requested documents.

NVC number received today! Also when checking the ceac status, it says invalid case number but I’m just assuming that’s because the site hasn’t been updated yet? Maybe after tomorrow the case number will be updated?

already completed ds-160. Will pay MRV fee and schedule medical today.

You must have missed all the others who have asked this question. You need to enter it as "immigrate" and not "non-immigrant" and here is why.

The K-1 process is quite strange. For a time, it is both a non-immigrant and immigrant visa type. That is why the links (what you received in the email) will send you the process for immigrant which would be the I-864 and DS-260 even though it truly is a non-immigrant visa requiring I-134 and the DS-160. As you go through the stages, within the NVC system you look up your file under immigrant (CEAC.gov). It stays that way until after your interview and the approval and your visa is ready for issue. At that point, it changes over to non -immigrant. It truly is a non-immigrant visa with immigrant intent.

Thanks so much!

Also so regarding the I-134, my fiancé just posts that to me doesn’t she? I’ve read online that you don’t actually file that form.

Would a photocopy of this form suffice? I have read that SYD embassy only requires a photocopy but if she isn’t actually filing the form then it seems like the original would be better off?

@Greenbaum I think you said something about this either earlier in this forum or in another, and I can’t find it. But does your NOA2 get sent straight to the NVC upon approval or are their “bulk batches” sent out at certain times of the month?

We’re a August 28 NOA2 so just trying to figure out when we might be a chance of getting our number

@Greenbaumhello sir! I am new in this community and just want to ask something regarding the 2 year meeting requirement. My fiance visited me in PH last May 2016 and applied for k1 petition last January 2018. Our case was approved August 2018. Will it be an issue during the interview stage that it was over 2 years ago since we last saw each other in person? Thank you!
