Thank you so much for this!

Would i need to include my Fiancés email to in thr body of the email?

If you'd like to you can but it is up to them if they will include him for future emails. You can always forward him the responses just in case like what I do.

It appears NVC has passed me by and didn’t send out my petition yesterday along with the rest of the batch.  Feeling left behind with no good reason, had case number for over a week now so I was sure it would leave yesterday, but nope.  Not understanding why it might have to wait another 2 weeks to leave

Be grateful you have your nvc case number. You have an noa2 8/15, I have an noa2 dated aug 14 and nada from nvc. The process is what it is and we can’t do anything about it.

The same thing happened to me in the August 21st batch..don't worry! yours will be sent next batch. I had to wait 2 more weeks like you! :)

Yup same here...had my case number since aug 15th and case just went into transit yesterday....a few weeks of waiting doesn’t hurt like 7 month did 😭

We are in the same boat... I called last night and they told me that my case wasn't ready to be send out yet... Which is weird because I saw somebody on this thread saying that his/her case switched into transit and he/she had the same date of receiving the casenumber (8/28) :(

I really hope they will send out some cases during these 2 weeks..

After getting notified and receiving your NOA2 send an email to NVC asking for them to email both you and your fiancé if any updates occur. In the past they have replied when your case was received from USCIS, another when your case number has been assigned and when your case is being sent out to your Embassy without you having to make any further queries by phone. Here is where you send this information to:

Email address: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Subject: Your receipt #

Body: Petitioner's Complete Name Birthday ; Beneficiary's Complete Name Birthday

Or use the online form

https://secureforms.travel.state.gov/ask-nvc.php

https://secureforms.travel.state.gov/ask-nvc.php

And you need to call NVC and you will need the Petitioner's and Beneficiaries full name and date of birth.

Call 603-334-0700 or 603-334-0888 Be prepared for a wait. Tell the operator that you are requesting a case number for your K-1. They will ask for the receipt number located on the left top of your I-797 (NOA2) form. Then he/she will either tell you that they have not received your case or you will be asked for the names and date of birth. If they don't have the case, you will be told it can take 30 to 45 days for them to receive it and to wait however many days/weeks and call back. That's a pad answer so ignore it. You can call back the next day or as often as you want. NVC's hours are 7am to 12 am (midnight) eastern time. Monday through Friday except Federal Holidays. Calling early at 7 am on the dot will get you in the fastest or calling late the lines to be open most often.

When you have your case number, enter it here https://ceac.state.g...ker/status.aspx and it will tell you one of three things... At NVC, In Transit, or Ready.

Thank you so much! :D I called and got my case number!  They will send it out to the embassy soon, then? :)

Call tomorrow, around 1700. You'll get your case number by then.
