Oh nice mate, we're the 28th of August - so still some time to go. For the DS160 did you need an electronic passport photo? Or any other specific information for that matter?

Yeah I just went to a place called digital foto world in Sydney and got some passport photos taken and they did a digital copy for me that I uploaded onto the ds-160.

Nah it’s an easy form, pretty straight forward. Fill it out and then print out the confirmation page.

Legend. And did you create an online profile or whatever they ask for to communicate with the consulate? I read somewhere that you’re advised to do that at a similar time to the DS160 so they can communicate with you, but then others say you don’t need that as the Sydney consulate just emails you when they receive your petition.

Yeah I did that on this website https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?country=Australia

pretty sure that’s the right place to do it. But yeah I believe that the Sydney embassy emails you.

Hi all please help! Im so confuse right now. Our noa2 is Aug 28. My fiance wants to wait for the instruction letter that he will be receiving (Noa2 hard copy) before doing anything else. Ive sent him all the required docs that he need to send to me and as well as the next process that we need to do. (Like calling NVC to get case number after 10-15days) Is it really important to wait for the mail or via email? Im done waiting and I dont want to wait for another month before he send me his docs and the NVC letter since he havent receive any update that our case was approved! Im the one who told him that our case was approved coz I checked it from the old site. Thanks

Is anyone else having problems with the CEAC tracker? Doesn’t seem to be working for myself or my fiancé.

Hoping it starts working again this afternoon incase they do send the applications to the embassy’s today!

I’m hoping it’s as soon as it’s sent but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the end of the day. Hoping that labour day yesterday hasn’t delayed it a day!

I asked someone that a week or two ago and the earliest appointment available at London was 11th October apparently 😭 so I think it’s about a 5 week wait (will fee like an eternity! 😴). A couple months before that though it was only a 2 week wait so I’m hoping it’s gone back down again or that there will be some cancellations available now!

It is working for me, but it still shows it is at NVC.  I know it is still early on the east coast so maybe it will change to in transit later today hopefully.

Yeah the CEAC tracker is busted. Hope they fix it soon, they're supposed to send out cases today as per the 2 week rule someone thought of.

It was working about 1 hour ago as I tried and it still showed my case at the NVC.  However, I just tried again and it is not working.  So hopefully it will work again soon.

I'd query again tomorrow, it's possible they won't update your case status until tonight, so there's no use checking it every hour.

And you shouldn't update your signature before you're sure it left on 09/04 ;)
