Thank your helpful!

but NVC never response my email!😭

Last Friday(8/24), I just email to NVC asked my case number, today still not get any response!

Your not going to get a personal email with whatever your asking for in your email to them. You need to use the format from my post here in this thread and your record will be updated to include both emails. Once your case number has been created you will receive and email.

Good morning all,

My fiancé is starting to work on the Affidavit of support form. He works for a company, do he needs to show a work letter as an evidence?
I think just showing his income and bank statement is enough.

Let me know your comments

It's up to him. When I did my affidavit of support, I attached all the evidences just to be sure :) :) :)

Called NVC again this morning.  I was on hold for a few minutes.

The person there told me they think our case has been sitting there for a while because it's still there.  They received it about 2 weeks ago.  We had gotten our case number from them last week.  I asked the person on the phone about the batch hypothesis that people have been talking about here.  She said she didn't know anything about it but that they'd send the cases out soon (no timeframe).  About sending the package to Sydney, they're not sure if I will get notified or my fiancee will, and they're not sure if the notification will come via email or postal mail.  This person seemed like they hardly had a clue, compared to the people I'd spoken with there in the past.

Seems like they're a lot shorter and a lot less nice to people who already have an NVC case number.  Anyway, I guess I'll call again right after Labor Day unless I hear anything different.

That person didn't have a clue. Your file will be sent to your Embassy according to what we surmise will happen. That date is 9/3-4. Notification is sent by snail mail unless you send them an email to ask for the two of you to receive. You can try and update your email but it just might be too late.

After getting notified and receiving your NOA2 send an email to NVC asking for them to email both you and your fiancé if any updates occur. In the past they have replied when your case was received from USCIS, another when your case number has been assigned and when your case is being sent out to your Embassy without you having to make any further queries by phone. Here is where you send this information to:

Email address: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Subject: Your receipt #

Body: Petitioner's Complete Name Birthday ; Beneficiary's Complete Name Birthday

Or use the online form

Yes, I have follow your format from your post. Thank your help.

i think I misplaced「principal applicant's full name」I should put beneficiary’s name and date of birth. My fault.....

I already send again my information to NVC. Thank you!

Having received NOA2 approval on 8/27, does it make any sense to schedule any appointments in advance?  Medical?

In most instances you have to have the case number to move forward with any appointments either medical or interview. You're getting a little ahead of yourself. Call NVC in about 10 business days for your case number. Do you have your Embassy Packet 3 (P3)? Are you interview in Nepal or Mumbai?

Since receiving your case number, how many days has your petition been sitting at NVC?  Just curious how many days you have been waiting

Current procedure is the cases are shipped out in batches. The next batch, and they leave every two weeks, is leaving 9/3-4. Next one after that is 9/18.

Let me know your comments

You are required to complete Form I-134. If the income reported on this form or your tax return reflects income below the poverty guidelines for the year the form was submitted, submit evidence of your income. This can include the following documents:

  • For those who are employed by an individual or company, submit a photocopy of an employment letter, pay stub, or pay advance (direct-deposit receipt) that meets the criteria below:
    • Includes your name and the company’s name;
    • Is on signed, business letterhead (you cannot sign the letter yourself); and
    • Is issued within the last three months.
  • For those who are self-employed, obtain a photocopy of one of the following:
    • Your business license.
    • A signed letter on business letterhead that was written within in the last three months.
    • A contract between you as an independent contractor and a company.
  • For those who are unemployed or retired, submit a photocopy of ongoing income from other means, such as:
    • retirement benefits;
    • other household members' income; or
    • other significant assets.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134.
