Do you think that if you add a photo DS 160 that was sent in the beginning of the process for receipt NOA 2, then this can be a denial of a visa?

Even if the person has not changed at all?

Let's apply common sense to the issue of pictures.

USCIS and NVC plus your Embassy want pictures that are "current" meaning within 6 months. So you are sitting around with pictures taken 8 months ago. If you haven't change your hair color or if a man you haven't grown a beard, mustache or other facial feature that will change your look then no need for new pictures. There is nothing on the picture that would indicate the date taken. So use them and save some money. Relax. This is not an issue that will get you a denial.

Here is some information from another person who is going through the same process you will with some tips.

1. Case number from NVC is needed for medical examination along with address in US, where she is going to live. Your fiancée will need to know them.

2. Police certificate can be obtained without case number. It is valid 1 year.

So she can obtain it in advance.

3. To get results of medical examination it can take 7-14 days, especially in Summer. Medical costs $190 - adult, $140 - child under 14 years.

Police certificate: costs 12,25 bel.rubles- within 7-15 days, or 24,5 bel.rubles - within 3 days.

4. The birth certificate needs to be just translated.

5. USC does not need to feel out something. Just use your passport to enter the US embassy. Though, it doesn't guarantee that you will be allowed to attend the interview with your fiancée when she will be asked. It depends on person who will interview her.

I don't have the P3 from Poland but if you get a copy and would like to share it with it would be appreciated. I will use it to help others that come behind you when they are near this stage. Just Personal Message me here on VJ. Thanks.

Hi Greenbaum,

Thank you very much for helping me.

I will explain you where my confusion is coming from. At the very end of DS-160 form - in Sign&Submit screen there is following section:

I hereby certify that I have received a copy of the IMBRA Pamphlet as part of my application packet.

From my understanding "application packet" is Packet 3.. Hence, I didn't submit DS-160 form yet.

There is a thread about this topic - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/657464-imbra-pamphlet/

Did you or (anyone of you with Packet 3) in their hands - receive IMRA pamphlet?

Within the picture you posted with your reply you will see a link "IMBRA Pamphlet" which you will select and you'll get a copy to read. Once you have read the pamphlet you'll be able to truthfully answer that question.

Good Morning all,

Someone can help me with the NVC number? I'm not sure if non immigrant visa or immigrant visa.

thanks for you help....

When you track your NVC case using your case number at their website, choose immigrant. But if you are just calling NVC to get the status of your case number, then it won't matter.

Hey, just my 3 cents here: Warsaw's embassy site states that the documents (such as a birth certificate) don't have to be translated unless it's court records.  UNLESS they are in a language different than polish or english. So it makes me believe a person  who wrote this checklist was form Belarus since polish embassy covers this country too and the money is rubles  (pln in PL:)

@Kamka check out this webiste if you haven't before. Good luck! https://pl.usembassy.gov/pl/visas-pl/immigrant-visas-pl/fiancee-pl/lista-dokumentow-wymaganych-w-przypadku-wiz-narzeczenskich/
