11/07/2018:  Received SSN card (applied on 10/24/2018)

How long has it been taking so far once you received the case # for it to change from at NVC to in transit and to be delivered to your embassy?  Just curious how long it has been taking people is all.

I haven’t heard anywhere that it’s necessary, it depends on each embassy though. I am bringing one just in case.

You can wait for the email but we have found that sometimes it doesn't come and that is why people are calling NVC. Once you receive your NOA2 application approval, then it will be approximately 2 weeks from USCIS to NVC. Then, another1-2 weeks for NVC to receive and post your case number. I hope this helps.

Most Embassy's (98%) do not require a new letter of intent for marriage. Someone along the way stated that it was required, and now everyone is creating more work then necessary for a document that is not needed.  Check your P3 letter from your Embassy and follow their directions for what is required. Only do what do will do!  Here is a little help for you.

I am right there with ya! NVC received and assigned our case August 15 and I am still waiting. I think our packet will be sent on the next batch(september 4)!!! :)

I think this is what they've been saying about sending out cases every two weeks to the embassies. They just sent out cases on the 21st so maybe the next one will be on the 3rd/5th. From in transit to case ready, it will only take 1-3 days.
