Have you tried calling today? :) you never know they might have received it too .. I called this morning at 7 am and the scary lady lol said it hadn't arrived and thought I would just try again now and a nice man told me they just received it today and it can take up to eight weeks to get a case number and send everything off but I will try in a few days for the case number 😛

I called earlier this morning and got the same woman I think and she says it hasn't been received yet.  I'll just wait and call tomorrow as even if they do have it now I know it can take a day or longer to get a case number so no need to rush.

Here is where it drives us crazy who are helping. Your timeline is not filled in and so I don't know if this is NOA1 or NOA2. I'm guessing NOA2 otherwise I don't think you be in this thread. Having said that, everyone who fills in their timeline helps everyone else including you to determine when an event should happen.

 

It's advisable to contact NVC via https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html to update your email address as well as your beneficiary's email address.

 

Then head on over to https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do to change your address with USCIS.

Our NOA2 date was August 10.  Hoping for at least delivery to NVC by Friday!

Still too early to call. It takes about 2 weeks before NVC receives your file and then another week to receive and create the case number. So a little more patience.

 

Checking on your embassy case number from NVC:

It will take 7 - 10 business days for NVC to receive your file from USCIS after you receive the NOA2, then another 2 - 5 business days for NVC to get your file in there system and produce your case number.  Call 7:00 am eastern time for shorter wait times.

 

1-603-334-0700 or 603-334-0888. Operator assistance is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time)

 

1 for English, then 7 (or 5, but I would go 7 as they would tell you if you should call 5 instead after they receive your case.)

 

Best time to call:

Right after they open which is around 7:00pm Philippine time/ 7:00am US Eastern Time, Mon-Fri. I was always able to have the phone answered after the first ring if I called right at 7am.

The last 3 digit of the NVC case number shows what petition was it on that day. Ours was 001 :D so we were the first ones on that day yours should follow accordingly. :)

I called the non immigrant number (603 334 0888) as of this morning 10am eastern time and they stated they have not received my case. a few hours ago i decided to call the immigrant line (603 334 0700) and they stated they had my case and assigned the cased number! i am not sure if it makes a difference but maybe worth calling both numbers?

my case number ACC2018729003 still at NVC but  it's the 3rd in line on the batch but ignored still at NVC. Consulate is Accra Ghana.So pissed. Is there any way i could contact NVC and ask why case was ignored?

Keep in mind that it's the third case assigned, relative to all other cases going to the same consulate only.
