We’re in the same boat. We have the exact same dates as you. I saw other people from the 7th August saying they got their case numbers yesterday so I was sure we would get ours too but my fiancé called last night and it hadn’t even been received yet ☹️

I’m assuming that USCIS send the applications to NVC in batches and I guess we weren’t in the batches that have already arrived. I don’t know if that’s exactly how it works, that’s just my guess.

Yeah i guess that sounds about right.. it's mega frustrating though hopefully we will hear something this week fingers crossed 😊 I see you're UK embassy too! Apparently the UK embassy interviews seem to be a breeze still feeling nervous though for some reason 😬

The latest I have seen so far is an Aug. 6th NOA2, but that's great if there is a Aug. 7th one already.  I called yesterday and today and they haven't got mine yet either.  My NOA2 is Aug. 9th so maybe I should wait a little longer. I know they say to wait 10 business days.  I don't want to keep calling back as I am sure I got the same women both days and she was not very friendly lol, but who can can blame her if she has to answer phones all day.

Hey! Approved on 08 August. Called to NVC  in the morning today and they said they did not receive our case yet from USCIS. And called again just now and they confirmed that case has been received by them from USCIS today but the case number has not been assigned yet. So tomorrow we will be calling again.

I actually started calling them on our 5th business day after approval (NOA2 aug 7th). After that, I kept calling them 2x a day lol until August 17th, on our 8th business day (in the afternoon), NVC received our case and got our case number on the next business day (Monday, Aug 20). Just don't be scared calling them every day, NVC actually told me to call every day even though they say to wait 6 weeks. I would call both numbers lol

Is there a difference between the numbers?  I have been calling the "non-immigrant" one...(0888).

Our NOA2 date was August 10.  Hoping for at least delivery to NVC by Friday!

They're both the same, I got both numbers from @Greenbaum's post. Both of them can look up your case and give you the info.
