Quick Renewal Delivery- NBI Clearance, is this acceptable if she has already gotten a visa within the last 4 years?

The answer to your question is Yes the Quick Renewal Delivery- NBI Clearance will be accepted. They are just updating your clearance to cover the last time you received your clearance to now.

These are questions that should be asked over in the sub-forum for the Philippines. NBI is document only used by USEM and no other Embassy so I highly doubt you will get that question answered by someone in this thread who is from Germany, Italy, Hungary etc. :D http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

TIP: If you want to stay here for the chit chat that's great but for your questions and any help you will be better served in the sub-forum. That pretty much is the same for everyone here. Your best answers come from the experts located in your country's sub-forum. To find the sub-forum go to the blue ribbon on the top of this page, select "Forums" then scroll 3/4 of the way down the page and you will see the listing for sub-forums.

Hi, we got our NVC case number at April 15. So far its been 6 days of waiting. April 15th?

Is this chart correct? The charts that are accessed on VJ are a tool and not necessary reflect the current climate but they are only a simple tool for prediction. Now the information comes from other VJ'rs who update their timelines. A small percentage do update but the vast majority do not and therein lies the caution.

image.png.ad13f20dfcf044eb4fd8f4184e735aea.png

I taught its just a short process there? It is 10 to 15 business days. Why is this chart is at 15 days right now? See my answer above.

Knowing this average i rather wait to schedule my medical and the interview until the case is ready.

Am i correct? Depends on your Embassy and what they allow. It's better to ask in your sub-forum (One of the links I gave you that you all ready have is for your sub-forum). Asking people here what to do who are processing through other Country's can lead to misinformation.

Thank you for your answers! Your welcome.

There you go. All your questions answered.

You should be able to schedule your medical exam while you’re waiting. You need the new case number to do that. Apparently the wait for a medical exam is about a month so that’s what I plan to do when I get my case number so it speeds things up once it gets to the embassy.

If you manage to get a medical sooner than a month ahead of time please let me know as that’ll make me really happy! 😄 I asked someone a month or so ago who had just had their medical, and the wait at the time was about 1 month for the medical and 2 weeks for an interview. Interesting to find out if that’s still the case or not.

Just called up and scheduled the medical for September 12th, so way less than a month!! And it seemed like we could've scheduled it even sooner, they basically asked us how soon we wanted it and we said then to make sure we'll have the police certificate in time. 😃

Si tenía un RFE con USCIS y ahora está indicando que su aplicación ha sido aprobada y ahora está en camino hacia NVC, entonces SÍ está aprobado para continuar el proceso.

if you had a REFF with uscis yesterday we received the notification where you told us that the application of the visa application has been approved now we want to know what is the second step we have to wait 30 days for a case number

I have a question, the medical exams are done before or after they assign us a case number and they assign us the date of the interview in the embassy in Ecuador.

Anyone with NOA2 dates after Aug. 7th get their NVC case # yet?  Just curious about how far they have process thus far.

Your partially correct. There are two numbers in addition to the others.

First, don't begin calling for 10 business days after you get your text message (NOA2). Second, you will need the Petitioner's and Beneficiaries full name and date of birth.

Call 603-334-0700 or 603-334-0888 Be prepared for a wait. Tell the operator that you are requesting a case number for your K-1. They will ask for the receipt number located on the left top of your I-797 (NOA2) form. Then he/she will either tell you that they have not received your case or you will be asked for the names and date of birth. If they don't have the case, you will be told it can take 30 to 45 days for them to receive it and to wait however many days/weeks and call back. That's a pad answer so ignore it. You can call back the next day or as often as you want. NVC's hours are 7am to 12 am (midnight) eastern time. Monday through Friday except Federal Holidays. Calling early at 7 am on the dot will get you in the fastest or calling late the lines to be open most often.

When you have your case number, enter it here https://ceac.state.g...ker/status.aspx and it will tell you one of three things... At NVC, In Transit, or Ready.

Is the number on the i-797 (NOA2) the same as the USCIS receipt number?

new uscis site: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

  • i129F sent: 29 January 2018
  • old site received date: 31 January 2018
  • new site received date: 5 Feb 2018
  • NOA1 paper copy notice date: 5 Feb 2018
  • NOA2: 7 Aug 2018

I don't put myself on a higher pedestal then what my talents are. I am in 8-9 threads answering questions everyday. I'd don't like to work harder so I work smarter and send you to those who know your Embassy. If I were an expert I'd be charging higher fees.

The receipt number is generated each time a NOA is created. So you are now getting NOA from USCIS. Don't confuse this with the case number.
