As I've checked different timelines from the Philippines status changed to "Ready" after a day or same day. You can have medical by tom without the NVC letter. So you should be good and don't overthink about it. You can resched anyway

You're thinking the same as I am on this.  When are you looking for medical and interview?

Our docs just went out via FedEx yesterday.  Due to arrive this week.  Once you pay, you can see the available interview slots.  Typically there are open slots within the week.

Blessing in disguise...we tried to schedule my fiancé’s interview to early I guess (not ready) but in doing so we finally made the discovery his name is spelled incorrectly on his passport.  Thankful for this small blessing while he has plenty of time to get it corrected.

Hey everyone. I'm not sure if anyone else has come across this problem before but if so I'd love to know how you handled it. The package is in route to the embassy so my F started filling out the DS160 form. For his home/mailing address the city name is too many characters allowed. He could fit it in if he removes the spaces between some of the words but I'm not sure If that's a good idea.Hes also considered listing the first part of the city on the address 2 line but still not sure if this is a good idea. If anyone else had this problem or has suggestions id greatly appreciate it.

Is there an abbreviation for the City name that he can use? If not spell out just what will fit in the blank. No problem.

You pointed out the lesson to be learned here. When you are waiting for your NOA2 that is the time to be going over all your documents for proper spelling, dates and so forth. Thanks for the tip.

Can I share a tip with you please? Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Hey folks, regarding tax returns for 134, is 3 years of transcripts from IRS fine or does the most current need to be the entire 1040 form?

Have you checked your Embassy letter as to the financial requirements as most embassies are now asking for only one year with a choice as to 1040 or IRS transcripts? Using IRS Transcripts cuts down on the amount of paper that needs to be sent.

Do you have to have the P3 packet to go to the interview? We scheduled for next Tuesday-medical and everything is together and done. I have spoken to someone else from Belgium who told me what the P3 required so do we actually need to have that in hand to go to the interview or is it ok to just go if you have everything it requires?

Case is Ready. @Scott Br What is the letter that we need to wait from NVC that we need to bring on the interview? Will I (beneficiary) be receiving this via mail from US(PH) Embassy? Or email only from fiancè? Any idea @Greenbaum? Thanks
