Hi!

Im not sure about that question regarding the Affidavit of Support not being notarized. But as per my readings it was indicated that it should be notarized.

Well, lets face it but Manila has been known for tampering documents, i dont think this one is quit sure. But you can send a message to USEMbassy Manila to confirm this or call their hotline.

with regards to the location - this affidavit of support was given to you by your fiance. So, the way i see it, to notarized it should be done by your fiance. Thats the way how i see it. Though correct me if im wrong.

BUT IF, it says its acceptable to have it notarized in the Phils. then visit public atty offices in the city hall. Better to have it inside the government office than have it on private lawyer. Cheaper also!

thats all for now.

keep in touch,

alexandra

then this might be the answer then...

why its fine not being notarized this document in the Phils.

Because it should be notarized by your petitioner's specified bank.

Yep, it's the petitioner who will have the Affidavit of Support notarized... not the beneficiary.
