Should I write a letter?

Just wanted to get some opinions as my fiance's interview is quickly approaching.  Everything about this K1 process has gone very smoothly so far. Although we met the one time meeting requirement I know some embassies look for additional in person meetings.  I had all good intentions to visit my fiance somewhere in the middle of our wait however I have a 12 year old daughter who suffers from some mental health issues and was hospitalized for a few weeks. This ended all possibilities of me getting to visit my fiance again. If it wasn't for the love and support that he gives to me I'm not sure I would have been strong enough to make it through that crisis. Do you think a letter to the embassy along with hospital admitting and discharge papers are necessary or helpful or will they not even look at it? Our embassy is in Jamaica.

What's your specific concern? Are you concern that the consular may wonder why you guys have only met once?

yeah

I think you having met once should be fine.

If they ask why you guys didn't meet up again, that is when I would explain the issue with your daughter.

I like to give them stuffs WHEN they ask for it.

Good luck to your fiancé.

Find the Regional Section and post in Jamica section

Your question is country specific

This is not a country specific questions - It's a general question.

She would like to know if meeting her fiancé only once before his interview would be a problem.

Whilst it's not country specific, there's issues with some consulates apparently. From everything I've read, when the beneficiary is from a high fraud country say for example Morocco, meeting once may not be enough for the CO conducting the interview. I would for my own curiosity check out your region specific forum to see if anyone at the consulate in Jamaica had any issues when they had only been able to meet in person just the once. :)
