Hey @Jameson78, I get your frustration at USCIS. In fact, VisaJourney was founded as a result of the "Valentine's Day Protests" of 2003. Several groups of VJ'ers over several weeks protested peacefully with signs and photos of their loved ones with "days processing" in front of the TSC. In short the TSC administrative staff had reprioritized workers to manage work petitions over family petitions, to the degree that zero family petitions went through. This lead to the formation of our timeline system to ensure independent measuring and accountability for USCIS (then, INS/BCIS). Shortly after the protests the Deputy Director reached out to our team and the flood gates opened. 

 

Here is why I'm giving you this story. In many if not the majority of cases, work flow and priority is set at the administrative if not political level with internal quotas and demand metrics being a focus. The adjudicators are not out to get anyone (although there are certainly going to be outliers). I would advocate frustrated VJ'ers to focus attention at these powerful yet also accountable levels. We as a community have a loud voice, and I'd be willing to put VisaJourney behind any outreach to USCIS should there be specific and quatifiable issues. What I would ask in return, is that we don't target or diminish folks just doing their job (again, unless there is a specific issue versus a generalization).
