Hello Guys

https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/uscis-issues-new-policy-form-i-693-report-medical-examination-and-vaccination-record

The link above states that the validity of medical exam is one year from the date of submission of a petition to uscis.

My medical was signed by Doc on 23 Aug 2017

Don't remember the date when I mailed my application package but received date per USCIS's NOA is 6 Sep 2017.

What is the date of submission mentioned above in USCIS link? is it the date I sent (which I don't remember) or date uscis received?

Do you think I my medical is valid for my AOS interview on Aug 27 2018?

Thanks

The date is the date of submission of your Adjustment of Status (AOS) after you enter the US and are married in the US.

As long as the date you filed for AOS is not greater than one year from the date of your medical exam (23 Aug 2017), typically you will not need to perform a new medical exam.  If your Medical Exam was dated 23 Aug 2017 and you submit your application for AOS prior to 23 Aug 2018 your exam remains valid during the process of AOS.

  1. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical examination overseas?

If you were admitted as a:

    1. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or

    2. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and

    3. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:

      1.   You are not required to have another medical examination as long as you file your Form I-485 within one year of an overseas medical examination; and

        1. (a)  The panel physician did not find a class A medical condition during your overseas examination; or

        2. (b)  The panel physician did find a class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility, and

you have complied with the terms and conditions of the waiver.

      2.   Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included
as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the
Part 9. Vaccination Record completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you must submit Parts 1., 2., 3., 4., 6., and 9.of Form I-693.

The information you posted is applicable to only K1 or other aos types?

The link I attached has two main points:

a) Medical should be submitted within a year it was done to be valid

b) Medical is valid for one year from the 'date of submission'

I am not K1, I am doing aos through marriage to a USC. I am not sure what is "date of submission".

if it is NOA date, mine is 6 sep 2017 so it should be valid.

if it is date doc signed, mine has expired.

if it is the date I sent to uscis, I can't remember

Sorry for not being able to provide specifics for your situation.  My assumption was you were on a K1 being your question was posted in the K1 forum.  I did attempt to look at your Timeline to confirm, but it is not filled out.   Unfortunately I am only familiar with the specifics for K1 visa and AOS, but my best guess it that it would be the same.   But it is only a guess, so do not trust that.

May I suggest you provide more detail of what visa type you are adjusting status from and possibly completing your timeline?   It is only a suggestion, but may help others help you the best way possible.  :-).  Without providing details on what you are adjusting status from (CR1 maybe), others may also have trouble helping to provide the information to best help you.

I am hopeful someone else will be able to help you.   All the best.
