Hello!

I'm preparing to file (K1) AOS, and one of the requirements is copy of passport bio page.

Will it be an issue if the one I will be submitting is my current passport (maiden name)?

About to renew passport (married name) later on.

Or should we wait the renewed passport (married name) before filing the AOS?

Thank you all

It's not a problem. You can submit passport cope with maiden name on it.

Thank you!!  How about any issues on my passport expiration on April 2019.

Aug 2018 - to file AOS using my single name passport with expiration on April 2019 (8 months prior expiration)

Sept 2018 - renewal of passport in the US (my country consolate), 7 months prior expiration

Nov 2018 - estimated release of new passport under married name

Will it have an effect that I submitted my single name passport during filing of AOS but later on, in the interview I have the new passport married name?

Thank you again.
