How do you continue school in the US as a LPR / F2A

Hey there, I'm really new here so excuse me if I don't make much sense, I'll be moving in the US pretty soon, not sure when to be exact, but we already got accepted, and case complete, and we're just waiting for the Visa Interview. Now what I wanna know is, what will I do when I go to the US, I am 15, should be in 9th grade, but I paused at 7th grade (For the Immigration process) - I'm aware that you will have to apply  with your local school district, but what do they do from then.


Do they work off of your past school records (In Egypt), or do they give you exams to see what level you're at so they can put  you in with other people your level. 
That's my main question. Second thing is, what if I go in the middle of the school year. Will they just be able to let me go in normally, or will I have to do some catching up?

Whatever school you end up at will make you take some placement tests to see where your level is at and place you accordingly. They may want some school transcripts from your country so go get those and get them officially translated before you leave the country in case they request them. Good luck.

Get multiple copies of your educational transcripts and (ideally) their translations.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Alright, so is there a chance they won't test me, cause I really have a fear of like, me not getting the proper answers, cause It's been a long time, so is there a way to know what tests they get, or are they all dependent on the school.

Also, I already have them in Arabic with me at all times, so we just have to translate them in the US probably so they'd know that I have studied till 7th grade and passed etc?..

You have a fear of testing? I mean..  it happens a lot in schools. ;) they need to check your education level somehow.

AoS

03.2015 - AoS started.

09.2015 - Green Card received.  

RoC

24.07.2017 - NoA1.

01.08.2018 - RoC approved.

Eh not fully that haha, I just meant that I'm afraid if I don't get one thing right for example, I'd be placed in like, 5th Grade in one subject, then 9th grade in the other. But so far I think I know what I'll be doing, gotta spend the rest of my wait time basically on Khan Academy ehh? Lol, thanks for ya help lads. :) Cheers. 


BTW  I don't know what happens to solved topics, but this is basically it, all I wanted to know. Though if anyone has experienced the same scenario as I have, with an F2A/other student visas or whatever, then feel free to tell me what your experience was like so I can know what to expect. Just for re-assurance.
