Hey i want to find out why CEAC login website says no data found on my case.  MY i130 priority date is 2007 July 19,  i have my receipt number EAC*********, and a next number that is on my Approval letter GEO*********,  and both number i used and say no data found can someone explain this, or is it too early to use the CEAC that's why there is no data on my case .

i have an estimate that my case will be current in 2019 but I'm not sure about it.

can someone just clarify this ?

EAC********* is Receipt number, and it is used for checking approval status on USCIS website: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

GEO********* is Case number, and it is used for checking the case status on NVC website: https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/

If you check and ensure that you entered your case number correctly, then it is just a technical problem and it will be fixed. Some people had a same problem like this before, then their case is updated. Currently, CEAC website is being maintenanced.

You can write an email to NVC via this link https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

Check the box "Please update my NVC file with this email address" and ask about your case status as well as your Invoice ID.

After 3-6 weeks, NVC will reply and let you know your case status.

They may also provide Invoice ID so you can use it to check when your case is ready for paying fees and submitting civil documents.

If they don't give you Invoice ID, you can ask them again or wait for the Welcome Letter (including Invoice ID), which will be sent to your registered email when your case is ready for processing.

As long as you keep your contact with NVC via email (check the box above), then you don't have to worry about losing their notification about your case.
