Would change of job affect affidavit of support negatively?

My fiance (petitioner) has been employed for 11 months now, he makes $21,840/year (before tax cuts) and no one depends on him, so we're good.

Now, he wants to change his job because there's a new place that pays more, would this affect affidavit of support in the future negatively?

Making more money will not negatively affect an affidavit of support.  Changing jobs, in itself, will not have a negative effect.

Changing jobs will not affect your application. Make sure you are making $ above the poverty line and provide proof, that should be ok.

He makes about 5K above the poverty line

I changed jobs in December of last year. 2 months prior to filing. Never crossed my mind that it would have any affects as I’m well above the poverty level.
