Annotation in us visa

Hi everyone..i just received my cr 1 visa today.. could anyone enlighten me what was the meaning of my written annotation in visa "Valid only if acc/ftj father/mother/spouse" ?

Seems like you are the derivative beneficiary. The annotation means you cannot enter US before the principle applicant enters. Together or later will work.

 FTJ means "follow to join." ACC means "accompanying".

 

You simply will need to prove, when you arrive, that your relative has already entered the US. You can do that with a photocopy of the entry stamp and I-94 card, which you should carry with you when you arrive, if you arrive after and not with your relative.

I wonder how could that be happened.. when in fact I am the only principal applicant..no other family members

In that case, that annotation is a mistake on their part. I’d contact the embassy and clarify the situation just in case.

Is it a DCF where the USC spouse filed from outside the US and must be already domiciled or must accompany the beneficiary ?

He filed in USA.. He is not domicile because he's been leaving and working for a long period of years in US.

If your spouse is living abroad with you, then the US Citizen spouse must enter before or with you.

No..he never lived abroad. Thats why i wonder why they gave that annotation

If the visa says CR1, that means you ARE the primary immigrant.  You'll have your full case file with you and it will clearly show your husband LIVES in the USA.
