Hi guys back in November I ve applied to bring my wife PD November 20,2017 as a former lawful resident now since July 18 I’m citizen I already called uscis to get my case updated and upgraded and it’s done deal    But my concern is my PD will still November 20 or the date I ve called them exactly July 19 ? My case is still at the Uscis I ve received the Noa1 waiting on the Noa2 they said it might take up to 5 months for them to accept it before sending it to Nvc

Your PD stays the same November 20, now that you are a citizen  you will receive your NOA2 faster than a lawful permanent resident. Wish you the best

Seems you filed when you were still a GC holder,I guess your case was forwarded to the California Service Centre which is seriously backlogged at the moment.

 

At this point,your biggest advantage is that you will no longer wait when your approved petition from USCIS gets to the NVC
