We filed and my wife was AOS from F1. We filed in June 14 and still no update as of today. It's been more than 400 days. I've called the USCIS and they had a case to find out what was going on, but no one ever followed up.

  • Filed I-485 / I-130 - Jun 14, 2017
  • USCIS confirmed receipt - Jul 16, 2017

I looked at the USCIS Processing Times for SF and before it was like January 2017 a few weeks ago, but today it's December 10, 2016? Why is this going backwards?

What's going on? Anyone else experiencing?

No, who is the obusdman that I would talk to?

Just Google "USCIS ombudsman" and fill out the form. They're independent from USCIS but they're an official channel of communication if you're experiencing certain issues with their case, such as long wait times for the EAD. They're very helpful.
