Do I need to secure a Travel Clearance?

After three (3) days, I got my passport with my visa stamped into it. :)(L) I had it delivered at work since I am at the office 5days/week. I did not expect for it to arrive really quick because I was told to wait 7 to 10 days for provincial areas. Felt like Christmas in July. Me and my husband are beyond excited and happy.(L)

I apologize if this has been asked before (I was researching and couldn't find the link to solve my questions). To those who used to be Phil. Government employees & are now in the US, I work as an accountant in the government but I will resign as soon as I get the CFO sticker and I want to know if the immigration (naia) asked for your Civil Service Form No. 7 - Clearance? Will an original resignation stamped received, acknowledged and signed approved by the local chief executive or its appointing authority suffice? I am curious if the immigration officer at naia will ask for my travel clearance because waiting for the clearances will take more or less 30 days per the new existing civil service rules (bureaucratic system takes so much time). Me and husband are planning on purchasing a ticket to florida once everything is ok.

Your inputs related to the aformentioned matter will be much appreciated. :)

Hi! May I know if they asked for it when you left for the US? Thanks!

Yes, the immigration officers at NAIA just looked at it.
