Hello I've applied but haven't receive my long form birth certificate yet.

What happens if i dont get it in time for my interview? I have a birth certificate without my parents name on it. Will they except that?

If your country of birth issues long-form birth certificates then that is what you will need to show USCIS/DoS. 

 

You will not be approved without it.

Day 385 (1/23/19) Denied

Day 400 (2/7/19) Denial revoked; N-400 approved; oath ceremony set for 2/14/19

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX

Obviously, a spouse beneficiary does not show a birth certificate of any kind to USCIS.  It WILL be needed for the Consulate.  Whether a Consular Officer will exercise their discretion and do without it is impossible to predict.  Don't count on it.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

They will not approve instantly, they may tell you to send in that birth cert when you get it before they approve, if you can get it before the interview, try as much to...

My interview is Sept 11. ( finally)

Now im all worried about UBC. I went to DHA and explained my situation. Hopefully I'll get it in time. I'll be bugging DHA everyday if need to be.
