which police police record needed ?

Neither.  US police records are not needed at all.

 

 

EDIT:  United States background checks will be done by the authorities as part of the petition/visa processing.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

to marry in morocco, I beleive it s needed, but which one

When I obtained my "Green Card" in Taiwan, I needed the FBI background check.........not sure about any other country...sorry.

one police report /mie was $15 at the local clerk's office 

some do it by county /others by police department but u only need one

u don't post your state so not sure about those requirements but a FBI report is good enough / no fingerprints

To get married in Morocco you need any police record with a seal. The U.S. embassy website says a DOJ record but Morocco will accept a local police record, a court summary, or FBI/Livescan as long as it has a government seal. It can't just be a printout.

I had to get my police record, but I did my background through the Department of Justice.  Bassically it just shows everything you have been in trouble for and what the disposition was.  If there is an arrest, USCIS will want that you go to the court that you had the issue with and you can get a copy of the docket that shows what the court did on that issue.
