Not sure where else to post this question....but i'm wondering if i need to keep any of the paperwork i took to the consulate for when i do POE? Obviously, i need to keep my originals and the packet that came with my visa. Just wondering if its safe to get rid of the photocopies of things like DS 160s and the I 134?

You more than likely won't need it for POE but I would keep it all till you finish your journey with citizen ship. You never know if you might need info from your past paperwork.

You can.. I have a copy saved on 2 hard drives though. (You dont need it for poe...  it's good to keep a copy until such a time as you may naturalize.)

the OCD in me will tell Paul (and you, lol) to take EVERYTHING.

 

just. in. case.

 

as is, he travels across the border with a copy of the K1 packet and NOA1. Even when I went up there last week, I traveled with one of MY copies of the packet.

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....
