It may be more work but thats why i plan to pay either rapid visa or platinum visa to do most of the work. If i can do k1 i will..

Mark i sent u a message on here can u reply here or to my facebook?

Thank you everyone it means alot you all care....

How long do you plan on spending in the Philippines in December?

I would suggest you do it yourself and just use the people here because you pretty much have to do it anyway if you use rapidvisa.

Well my plan was to use mike from platinum visa with a fee of 1200 he handles all paperwork... Im gonna do the k1 route... I had planned to spend 20 days in davao.

Last year i spend 2 weeks with my fiance there....

But most likely gonna do k1 now that i know i can..

Shell get here much faster and less money will be spent on my time there for food and fun etc plus the wedding which i can do here for half the price.

You have to provide either of those outfits with the information to complete the I-129F.   You still have to gather all the required documents.   Aside from someone to double check your information (which you could email a copy to your fiancee to have her double check  ;)  )  , neither outfit can "do it for you"

The instructions with the I-129F are good and if you follow them you can easily complete the I-129F form

You may find additional useful information here:

As Hank says, they really dont do anything for you.  You have to get all the info together and do all the work but you pay them for your work.  We used RapidVisa to file our K-1.  They are fine if you have all that extra cash laying around.  If not, it really is simple to do yourself since you are getting all the papers together anyway.  Save that money for your visit.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

So much paperwork?    There is the I-129F ... the rest is collecting documents  (all listed on the link I gave you and the USCIS instructions for the I-129F).

Reality is you do what makes you feel at ease ..

Those above items are not needed to file the I-129F petition.

How do you prove you make $23K a year?  Tax return and W2.   The support evidence is not requested until the actual visa application at the embassy months later, after the petition is approved, then the I-134 (Affidavit of Support) form is completed (very simple form), along with your most recent tax return and W-2.   Employer letter, pay stubs may be helpful if you are a new employee but otherwise .. not needed).

As for the I-129F, it is completed one blank at a time.  Family Name.   Given Name.  Middle Name.    ... so on and so on until your reach the end where your sign and date.     The form may be a few pages long, but NO ONE can complete that form for you without first asking you to answer each and every question  - What is your Family Name?  ....

Filing fee for the I-129F is currently $535

Getting married in davao.. So i have to go to manila to.get this? Welp looks like it wont be happening in december. Thats rediculous. Makes mme jus want to do k1.

I don't know of any flights that go directly to Davao from USA. You will have to land in Manila first anyway. That's what I did, stayed overnight and then got the affidavit the  following morning. In and out of the embassy in less than an hour.

Mike was telling.me it does not matter what i made last year i could have made 1 million last year or zero.

It only matters what ur currently making which they use ur income and weekly.hours to find out what u make yearly.. Im sure i dont make 23k exactly from sick days leavin early etc..

But 2 or 3 year tax returns is also good to show.. Even tho last yr i only made 13k and year before only 9k

I have only started getting my life together after years of... Well.stuff.

Anyways i make 11.25 per hour 40 hours times 52 is about $23k

Mike said if i made 1 milllion last year and currently making 10k at time of filing i would be denied.

I wish he would chime in here...

And you can pay around 5k for direct flight.

Alsoooo their are direct flights to davao from LAX for around $980 then id need to do round trip from NH for $300 honestly doing that would gave been so much better then the 35 hour trip with 2 2-3 layovers.

My flight from Malaysia to london was 13.5 hours...

Anyways not here to talk about flying.

This is just over the required income,

Have you set aside the amount needed for the adjustment of status to be filed after the wedding?  I'm sure your fiancée/wife will want to be able to work, drive, go to school, etc.
