Wow.Good to know they working on June.Noย RFE.Just the same emails about there are no updates on your case at this time every 2 weeks.I sent an application for EAD renewal together with request for Prima facie extension and EAD was sent back after 6 weeks requesting for a fee or fee waiver.Today I asked my attorney to write them and ask for the prima facie extension and she did.So just waiting!

ย Hey Everyone..Anyone..also @ Tortmaster..i have a question thats bafflingย me..concerning vawa petition..why is it that other people who filed same date with you or even after you get approved before you..as we all know the petition is processed at the VSC or does our address/state of residence matter?ย  I would like to know the reason for this please๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Š

I know a June 7 filer who has received the message that your card is being produced, which we've seen to mean an approval.ย

Did you get an RFE?

Hi Tortmaster..i want to know why same date filers get approved at different times..for example I'm a march 2017 filer still waiting..while some may jun are approved and some march too...i thought all vawa petition were processed in same location which is the VSC? Or does our address/state have anything to do with it? I wanna know how this works pls...anyone everyone pls feel free to put me at ease๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š thank you all

It is because every immigration officer works at a different speed and has different cases of different difficulties in front of them.ย

One officer could be working on 5 cases that are all easy approvals and one officer could be working on 5 cases that all need an RFE carefully typed up and take longer to go through. Also every VAWA case has a different amount of pages and evidence submitted, so that all plays into it too.ย

I need help. I Recently got a job offer to resume on theย  8Th of October however I havent received my EAD which I renewed about 3 months ago. Please what can I do as I don't want to lose this job.ย

You can send the job offer along with a letter asking to expedite the EAD to Vermont. There is no guarantee that they will expedite it but you can try. Current processing times are 3-5 months, so you are withing regular processing times.ย

Do not start the job without having your EAD!

Do you have the receipt notice for your application for renewal? Someof them give you an automatic 180 day extension and you maybe able to use that to start your job.

It varies widely because the cases are not all decided by the same officer. Also each month doesn't have the same number of filers.

Also, my understanding is that there are no full-time Vawa immigration officers. They all get a few Vawa cases a month in addition to their regular case load. So it could also depend on what other things each officer has going on. I imagine some can even take vacation and they are behind on their Vawa cases when they come back.

Basically we don't know for 100% sure what happens in Vermont. All we can do is be patient and pray for the best. God is in control.

Yes, but the 180 day extension has expired already.

Itโ€™s not normal the delay, specially because in 2015/2016 Vawa cases were taking 4/6months to be adjudicate. You should contact your congressperson asap, and contact the USCIS ombudsman as well.

First I wanna apologizes for not replying to all the amazing people that responded to my concerns. And yes I contacted my congressman and that was like 4-6 months ago and he told me Iโ€™m still undergoing my background check, I filed my I-360 and my I-485 together. I asked my lawyer multiple time to reach out or see whatโ€™s wrong and most of the time she respond it is ok donโ€™t worry until like Hal a year ago that she said that it is not normal I email the ombudsman and I got a referral number but no explanation why it is taking so long, also like a month a go i went to the field office in Baltimore and the USCIS person was rude and basically said we are busy you have to wait. Can someone else tell me what else I can do or who can I reach to see what is actually happening ?ย

And so far for the 3 years that have passed I have ben getting new permits but also losing jobs because they were not issued on time and it was so hard like mentally and financially and stressful all the time because I donโ€™t know what will happen with me, and Iโ€™m getting devorced hopefully soon because of the constant abuse and harassment, and I have filed a violation of the restraining order against my spouse because of that and Iโ€™m afraid what may happen because like he said Iโ€™m a iligal and he is an American and I will go to jail and deported๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”. And regarding my biometric I only did them once but as far as I know since it was so long I will have to do them again but even now when I apply for the renewal of my work permit it showed that they wonโ€™t charge me for biometrics ? Is anyone else in e similar situation and if can help please message me โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ ย And I wanna say to everyone thank you for the supportโค๏ธโค๏ธ.

Thanks so much...the best of these words right here is that "God is in control" you feel peaceful when you are riding on grace! It don't matter how prepared you are or not..it's grace and favour that speaks! Lets all trust HIM ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™ there's no disappointment! I will surely share my testimony on here!
