Yes, submit i-864W along with form I-485, it exempt you from proving financial support,there is no need for pay stubs or tax return. Tax return is required for I-864 only which is not applicable to you per current law. Try and do it as fast as you can  because USCIS is considering eliminating  form i-864W soon, then everyone will be required to submit the real affidavit of support form i-864 were you will need tax return.

I know what a waiver is used for...there are three categories in filing a fee waiver.  I qualified for two of them last year.  I can still qualify for one, not including being a VAWA petitioner.  I was asking because others have stated when they renewd EAD C9 they did not have to pay the fee.

@Pinkrlion Do you have a copy of the form you sent them? (did they mail it back to you maybe?) Is it filled out correctly (renewal/ C09)? If everything is correct it could have just been an error on their part incorrectly looking for the fee. You can send it back with a letter of explanation attached highlighting its a c09 renewal or you can just trash it and send a brand new form. When does your card expire? You need to file on time to get the 180 day auto extension.

Good evening i want to ### anyone that has made an inquiry about why your case is taking longer than the normal processing time and got a  referral number?? How do you check that number or what can i do to see what is happening i recently made an info pass but when i got there the USCIS agent was very rude and basically told me we are busy and i have to wait and didn't want to check or see what is happening. Can someone please advise or help me i have filed my I-360 in late 2015 and im still pending? I wanna say thank you to anyone that can help me in advance. ❤️❤️❤️

I am really appreciate your help .. Thank you very much .. Just please let make sure I got exactly what you said Because when I asked attorney he said what we need this form for ! Actually he doesn't have enough experience with vawa  but when I made some researchs I have seen some people submitted other they Didn't don't know why .. So any applicant Need to submit i864 w along with 485 based on vawa approval .. It doesn't matter if he/she works now and he/she has tax return and pay stubs still they shouldn't submit i864 because it is not applicable to our current law   .. All applicant need submit i864w Even they have job now and tax return paper from last year , still they need to submit i864w only  because it based on vawa approval ..  Is that correct ? ☺️       thanks again .

You can make an account here to check your status, but USCIS is not very good at online updates, just know that. 

You will need your receipt notice to see your case number. Each form has a different case number. Did you only file I-360 or also I-485, I-765 and I-131?

USCIS is currently adjudicating cases from May/June 2017, so something definitely went wrong with yours. 

 

1. Check I-360, VSC, there will be a link for being out of processing times. Enter your information there.

2. Write a letter to the VAWA Unit at VSC to inquire about your case. Include a copy of your receipt notice. 

 

3. Contact your congressman to inquire on your behalf. You can Google who your responsible congressman is and they typically have a contact form on their website for any government agency inquiries. 

 

4. Contact the USCIS ombudsman.

You are not alone. I am in the same boat. My timeline is similar to yours. 

--Let me ask you : 1) Have you received any RFE since 2015, if yes when was it?.

                                 2) Did you file i-360 by itself or you filed concurrently with other forms like the i-485?. ( i will tell you        why i am asking this when you respond).

--Personally as far as inquiries go, i found my senator to be very helpful: The first time he contacted them, they told him my case was undergoing a background check which lasted like 6 months+ due to back log. The Second time he contacted them, they told him my file has been assigned to an immigration agent. 

-- When it comes to writing  letters of inquiry to VSC, they don't bother responding (at least in my experience). My attorney wrote 2 letters which  they have not been responded to. But i advise you to write one anyways.

{1} I sent i-360, i-485, i-765 and USCIS received on 08/15/2018, 09/01/2018 and 09/24/2018.      

On September 24, 2018. I received an RFE of Good Moral Character for i-360, in that letter USCIS did not specify the maximum date to respond to said RFE.

 

 {2} I received my biometrics appointment for AOS not for Work Authorization { 10/05/2018 }.

 

{3} When I sent my VAWA PETITION, I  have sent Police Clearance, My Former Boss in Ghana wrote Good Moral Character Letter and Family friend here in US wrote Good Moral Character Letter.  

 

 

MY QUESTIONS:  {A} Can I do another Police Clearance. Can I send My Former Boss Good Moral Character Letter and Family friend Good Moral Character Letter ?

            {B}  Can USCIS use the biometrics for Work Authorization or I will do another later ? Thanks in Advance
