USCIS  is not required to issue RFE anymore, it means you must submit the police clearance of all places that you lived in the past 3 years otherwise they will deny your I-360.

Thank you SANDRA!

Yes. They will issue RFE for the cases before 12th September 2018. The case  filed after 11th September 2018 will be denied if it does not fill the requirements. The VAWA case is reviewed upon evidence. So the USCIS  could still issue RFE for the applicant after 11th september 2018  if the evidence does not satisfy them. For example, they could issue RFE for  good faith marriage. But if somebody misses to include the document like marriage certificate or ID or important initial evidence, they will directly deny the case filed after 11th September 2018.

Okay got it now, That answers my question.

Thanks

From my observation I have noticed that they are closing in on processing times. It looks like they update the times for i-360 daily. Two weeks ago I checked and they were processing December 7,2017 and as of today they were processing January 8,2017.

Quick question/clarification: Previously If a vawa applicant timely responded to an rfe with no further rfe's can the applicant still be denied?

As from henceforth the new rule is that if your i-360 isn't cleared with all full evidence that ticks an instant denial with no rfe's.

If USCIS receives a response to an RFE within the deadline and the evidence provided is sufficient, the petition will be approved. If the evidence is insufficient (even if it was submitted on time), they will either ask for a 2nd RFE or send a Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID).

The new rule is ONLY for I-360 receipt dates AFTER the new rule kicks in.

Case Transferred To Another Office

On September 20, 2018, we transferred your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number EACxxxxxxx, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by October 20, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I have these questions, pls verify to me:

How long would the local receive my case after this update?

what update is for transfferred I-485 to local office?

I appreciate your replies.

It honestly depends. I-485 is first transferred to the National Benefits Center. Some people get an online update for case transfer for this. Yours seems to be one. Sandra always says they typically take 30-45 days to work on it before transferring it to the local office. It can take longer though. USCIS is messy when it comes to online updates, so not everyone gets an update when the case gets transferred from NBC to the local office. I’ve never gotten that update but I got an update that my interview was scheduled, so I think they skipped that update. Don’t rely too much on online updates but more on actual notices you receive in the mail. Now it is up to how fast your local office is until you get scheduled for an interview.

That doesn't seem very accurate. There are people on here who filed on June 2017 and their cases have been adjudicated

The dates @aquila is talking about are the dates when your petition is considered to be outside normal processing times.

So they are still working on a few cases from back then, that’s why the range says 16.5-20.5 months. But under normal circumstances they should be working on cased 16.5 months back.
