Hello Mrs. Sandra,
Recently I just realized, I'm not sure, but it is possible that I lived in a place for 6 months and 7 days approximately and the letter (RFE) that they ask me corresponds to places where I have lived 6 months or more.
In the letter where they requested me the RFE of good moral behavior does not specify the time limit that they gave me to respond. As I was looking at the pages of USCIS there is a time limit of 12 weeks (84 days) to respond to RFE requests on initial evidence regardless of whether the letter specifies the maximum time limit to respond or not. My date to respond expires on September 12 and the letter I need from the state of New Jersey I think it takes a month to deliver it to me because I'm not currently living there.
Questions:
1. What can I do and what would be the consequences?
2. Does anyone know when they delay delivering that letter in New Jersey?
Please someone who can help me !!!!!!!!
Thank you!

Good morning everyone after waiting 16 months ..i got a RFE so disappoined though.

Cheer up!!

Try to respond as soon as you receive it and try to get help on how to put the evidence together. It will slow your case but that doesn't mean it will be deny. You have waited so long you are only a few month to go.

Best of luck.

If its granted because you have a pending I-485 it will be C9

If its granted because you have an approved I-360 its C31

Hello everyone!
The RFE requesting good moral behavior refers to the places where I have lived for at least 6 months during the last 3 years. After thinking hard trying to find out how long it was that I lived in that place, my exact calculations are 5 months and 26 days, less than 6 months.
Question:
1. Do you think I need proof of that place since, although I lived less than the required 6 months because it was quite close to the established time?
I have the background check of the other sites where I lived more than 6 months.
Please help me with your opinion!

I would definitely get police clearance from there. My RFE 15 months after having filed I-360 was to send them police clearance from a place that I had lived in for 4 months only. They don’t do math very well ;)

You don’t have a date on your RFE because it is only an initial one and they won’t make a decision on your case until at least 16 months after your I-360 receipt date anyways, so I would request it now and send it.

If you have a pending I-485 (which it sounds like you do), I recommend applying for I-765 under category C9 because that will allow you to work while waiting for VAWA approval.

If you apply under category C31, it means you have to wait for your VAWA to be approved to receive your work authorization.

If you have a pending I-485, you may also apply for Advance Parole (I-131) which is the travel authorization.

Please iwillsurvive help me understand this information from USCIS:

https://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/AFM/HTML/AFM/0-0-0-1/0-0-0-1067/0-0-0-1318.html
a) According to the standards defined by USCIS in the "Requesting Additional Information" manual 2 the maximum time to respond to requests for initial evidence not provided is 12 weeks; Due to the date on which the RFE was requested by USCIS, it is mandatory that USCIS receive such documentation before September 11, otherwise my case could be denied for not having received the requested evidence before the 12 weeks required by USCIS to respond to requests for initial evidence (RFE).
After thinking hard trying to find out how long it was that I lived in that place, my exact calculations are 5 months and 26 days, less than 6 months.

According to that information, I do not have time to send that information. I have proof that I was not living there for 6 months or more.
After you review that information please help me with your opinion.

Thank you so much for help me!

bona-fide marriage and shared residence, they said the once I submitted was insufficient. For example they said the automobile insurance was not supported with prove that the account was maintained and paid for by both of us.

I am trying to gather what I can to respond

That's crazy. Did you submit a rental agreement with both your names?.
