Seems like they are working on July 2017. Nobody on this forum has reported approvals from any later date yet.

Then my guess is somehow right as case outside processing time is moving and has moved  to 20th of march2017 as of today, then last approvals has been July 2017 since September 2018.

Seems like the officer doesn’t know what he’s talking about. VSC is only for VAWA. Since you never filed VAWA, the VAWA Unit at VSC can’t help you.

I suggest you post in the citizenship section of this forum as people here cannot help you as most don’t even have their GC.

Below link shows 3 classifications for the abuse 3 year rule. If you fall under one of them, you can just file N-400.

Uscis cannot disclose over the phone the naturalization process with people who got the green card  through Vawa or through l751 waiver(abuse) ,it’s protect by privacy Law.

Thanks Iwill survive.

So what do i do next. How do i request for the Police Clearance. I live in. San Bernardino California.

I am a bit confused about the Police Clearance process.

It’s a very simple process. You go to an official live scan location, takes 5 mins and about 2 weeks later you get a letter with either clearance or criminal record.

Sandra, I have been living in America for 3 years on a student visa and I still valid. I met my wife in September 2017 and we applied for marriage on Valentine's day.
My wife and I have the same religion ( I'm muslim ) and we are students. My wife is American citizen 21 years old and I am 23 years old.  My wife, me and a roommate are living together in a two-bedroom house.
1-) One month after I got married, my wife punched me during the discussion and I went to the emergency room with my roommate. I got a report from the hospital, but I didn't complain about my wife. ( My roommate is my witness because he was at home when my wife punched me )
2-) In the second month of marriage., when I said I wanted to divorce, my wife attacked me with a knife and I called 911. Me and my best friend also recorded it on the video when my wife attacked me with knife. I have police report and 911 record.
3-) Last month, my wife tried to slap me when my dad with me, and then she tried to threaten me, me and my dad went to the police department.
Also fo bonafide marriage
I have joint lease agreement , Joint bank account ( we opened 4 months ago ) and I have some my wife's mail to the address we live with. There is no tax return because we got married Feb 2018.

I and my wife don't have cars, so we don't have car insurance. According to the agreement between our roommate and I, my roommate have pay the electricity bill because bill under he's name, and we have to pay the only internet bill.
More than 200 different photos ( wedding, she is family and friend ) gifts, letters each other. 1500+ pages text messages ( PDF ) since January 2018. Text messages from my wife's mother and she told me her daughter is bipolar with messages.

I didn't apply to green card during the marriage because I was worried about my wife. Because my wife was always threatening to deport me. I found out about VAWA last month.

I have no criminal record, and I will graduate from software engineering within 2 years. I've been under psychologist treatment for the last 4 months.

Finally, there are the apology messages my wife sent to me, the threat messages, and the messages my wife said she was cheating on me with she is ex , and the messages my wife said she attempted suicide. And my wife's always bothering ( with text) to my friends. My wife still wants money, even though we filed a divorce 20 days ago.

There are things that I don't think about right now. Please, your advice is very very important to me.

I'm going to apply to VAWA soon, but I don't know if I have enough documentation.

Yes, you have enough evidence. I have seen people with less than what you have.  I would go ahead and file.

Hello to everyone,

I filed my self-petition recently, and I am waiting to receive my Notice of Action. My lawyer refused to file I-765 when she was filling I-360 and I-485; I asked her to file I-765 category c(9), after receiving my Notice of Action. Still waiting...

Before filling for VAWA, I filed concurrently for my green card through marriage (U.S. Citizen) and my priority date is in January 2018. I received my EAD card in June 2018 and is valid for almost a year. As of today, this case status is "Ready to be scheduled for interview"; however, I have filed for divorce after domestic violence accident.

My question is regarding my work permit.

Is my work permit still valid?

I don’t know if I understand your question clearly but I will answer based on what I have read because I am in the same boat with you. You shouldn’t have filed for a new I485 if you had filed concurrently (I485,I765,I130 etc) previously. Your EAD (I765) is based on your pending i485, so you/ you lawyer should have filed for only i360. Your ready for interview as you said, if you were called for interview you and your lawyer would have to go for the interview and tell the immigration officer to postpone your interview until your i360 is approved. That way, your ead will still be valid. But now that you have filed a new i765, when you are called for interview and the immigration officer finds out you have another pending i485, they may cancel the first one and if that is the case, your ead will automatically be terminated because your ead is based on that i485. What I will suggest you tell your lawyer is that, when you both go for the interview, you can tell immigration officer to cancel the new i485 and keep the previous one and also link your i360 to the i485. That way, you will maintain your ead. Else, if the previous application is cancelled, you will have to wait again before you get a new ead based on the new i485 as long as the i765 category is 09. I think you just wasted money on new i485

i don’t know if this makes sense to you, I had a pending i485 and approved i765 before I applied for i360. When I was scheduled for an interview, my lawyer only wrote an email to the immigration office and my interview was cancelled till my i360 is approved. My ead is still valid and I didn’t have to pay anything for my i360 application since my i485 is still pending and the i360 is free for vawa category.

Happy thanksgiving everyone

A psychologist or licensed counselor specialized in dealing with domestic violence/abuse cases should work. They have to have at the minimum a Masters degree in Psychology. And you can find one cost free at your local women's shelter, the one I am attending for my sessions took 8 sessions over a few months before they wrote my evaluation (it was very detailed), and I'm still attending sessions as my ex is still stalking me even though divorce is final, I just need the outlet.

I think you need 7 sessions or so before they can write you a very good evaluation. Please check with your local women's shelter for more information, they are very helpful.

I never went to a shelter because some friends took me in instead. I'm going to a counseling clinic that I found and is very affordable. The thing is that most of the counselors at this place are intern students working on either their master degree or  PHD in psychology/counseling. The one I'm working with is working towards her masters and currently has just a bachelors in psychology. would that be ok? or should i look for someone with at least a masters?

thanks
