good day everyone, i have a question. so today i called uscis inquiring about my vawa but mostly about my employment authorization and the officer took a look and realize that it was outside the processing time. I filed everything April 23 2018 and to date i have yet to receive it (work permit). the officer told me to write a letter to the vawa unit in Vermont. has anyone ever had to write to them inquiring the status on their work permit or vawa case? i dont have the slightest idea what i need to ask or say in this letter.. i need to work to provide for my little family 😥

Hello Sandra @sandranj congressman sent inquire about my jan 2017 case, and they responded that they’re checking backgrounds, I have a question, if you know this please, what stage is that? Usuay When are they checking background,  at the beginning, when they start working on my case or maybe it’s almost end? Thank you!

10/02/2018. Interview lasted about five minutes.

10/03/2018. Received notification that card is ordered

10/05/2018. Received notification that card is mailed to me.

So now I am waiting for my 10yrs green card through VAWA.

If you are waiting just wait in faith.

Hello everyone today I got an update in my case saying “new card is being produced “ in my I-360 status. But I didn’t get any file a 485 yet or have and interview. Can anybody tell me what does means? Please

Usually card being produced as we have seen it here time and time again means your vawa has been approved..what's your filling date and did you apply for EAD?

This is for my I-360, for my work permit there is not changed but I’ve filled  this last year and they told me Vermont office has not give work permit until my 360 is approved  03/24/2017

You don't need to be confused..i think your vawa has been approved you will be getting the EAD anyways..so when did you file i360? By the way congratulations are in order! Yiu can breath easy now...✨✨😊💃

 Thank you so much.I’ve filled back in April 2017 so what now do I need to file for my I-485?
