Sorry but need some fast help and can't find this topic so far, My fiancé has an interview Aug 8th ( just got it last night) does the St Luke's need to be done before the interview?

Of course the email they send her only seem to have July 30 and 31st available and I would need to buy a ticket like now and she will need to spend a lot of time in Manila.

She has a job and don't want to see her lose it over this in case she does not get the visa. any advise ?

Can the CFO Orientation be done at any time, before or after?

Yes, your medical at SLEC needs to be done before your embassy interview. Also, be aware that SLEC is a 2 day process. The CFO can be done before or after. Just needs to be done before you leave the Philippines.

There are no appointments for SLEC. Walk-in, first come first serve. You need to register in their system first. http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/index.php

Yes the medical needs to be completed before the interview.  SLEC is walk-in,  first come, first served, a two day process .    Both can be completed in the same week with minimal planning.

CFO for the GCP seminar can be completed before or after the interview.

Thanks Everyone!

Here is what I set up, fly into Manila Sunday - Medical on Monday And Tuesday - Wednesday Interview Aug 8th- Thursday CFO and Friday fly home.

Her Friends that have done this before say that is to hectic and she should start the medical the week before the interview ?

Thats seems to me like a lot of missed time ( concerned if she does not get the visa about stay at her job) from work and a lot of hotel time.

If you can get the necessary appointments scheduled (Embassy & CFO ) .. all should be fine.  Busy week but it should work.

Remember to schedule CFO.  When Rose did it appointments were about a month out.  CFO should not be a huge concern.  Take care of the medical before the interview and handle CFO when you can.  Hopefully it will all work out but medical and interview are much more important.  Make sure she is at CFO 90 minutes before her scheduled time.  They send people away how aren't there 90 minutes early.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

We did CFO and Medical all in the same week back to back with no problems at all. My fiance was able to walk out with the medical report in hand on the second day. I think you both will be fine. Be very organized, be positive, smiling and excited. If you meet all the criteria to get approved, you should most likely have no problem getting approved.
