would wait for you "interview has been scheduled notice" which comes a month before your interview date before seeing a civil surgeon or you could go and to the interview and be asked for a new medical (which sounds fairly likely in the case that has been described).

I would wait until somebody looking at my file and speaking to me face to face said "You are tentatively approved. Go get another medical and have it sent directly to me so I can have your visa issued." Correspondence prior to the interview is generic and may say bring an I-693 if not already submitted, but it wasn't directly based on  on somebody reviewing the applicant's  file. It is a broad statement to everybody.

@Wuozopo

Either way.

The point I was getting at is I wouldn't get it done prior to submission of the AOS packet. Local Offices appear to be getting more and more backed up and because of this some people's medical's are expiring before they even get to the interview. So getting it right before the interview or waiting for the officer to request one would be the plan I would take :)

Good day all

So i've been here in the US for a couple of months now and i'm trying to get my AOS packet together

a couple of questions:

Do people tend to include relationship evidence in this packet or do they wait til an interview? I''ve noticed nobody mentioning it, so i just want to confirm.

I had my medical in London in March and all i required was a tetanus booster which i elected to have from my local GP afterwards (saving myself some money i thought at the time) however this of course means my DS-3025 has my last tetanus as being over 10 years ago. I have a letter from my GP to prove i had the booster since. Do i still need to go see a Civil Surgeon? Frustrated at the thought of having to spend $300 on something when i thought i was saving money previously...

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately any vaccines in your native country were probably cheaper than the uS 🙁 as far as evidence for AOS- we did send a lot in  at the request of our lawyer - also did not have interview. We submitted labeled photos, joint checking accounts, health insurance info, IDs that show out same address,joint credit card info, marriage certificate, some copies of mail addresses to both of us- if we have kids would have submitted their birth certificates, if we had a lease would have submitted that as well. Good luck!
