When searching our case. Brings up two. One says issued, the other says application received.

She has the interview a couple weeks ago and received 221g to prove the child is hers(due to late birth certificate issuance). Submitted all the documents and up to just a couple of days ago it just said ready. Then both changed to application received. Then just changed one of them to AP then issues. The second one is still on application received. Is it possible that they just didn’t update the second one or is it still in the application received stage?

Just want to know if this is “normal” and if anyone else has had this issue

It's normal. They just didn't update the status to AP.
