Congratulations for You and your fiancé.. We are Happy for You..

Can You say how was your interview?

My appointment was at 8:40. I got there at 8:30, checked in at the door (we don't need to wait in line with the tourist visa people) and went to the second floor. Two people was checking the documents and asked to put then in the order specified in the list. If you forgot to print something, there's a computer and a printer there you can use. After that someone will call you to check the documents again, compare them to the information provided in the petition and in the ds-160. After that you wait for the consular officer to call you by your name. When I got there, there was only one CO working, so it was pretty slow, but then two more people showed up. I was called around 10:30/10:40. He asked my fiance's name, when we met, where he lives, what he does, if he ever came to brazil, f I met his family and what are our plans for the wedding. It didn't last more than 5 minutes. He said he would be able to issue the visa, told me the expiration date of it, that I should get married within the 90 days after arriving, the visa would be ready for pick up in two weeks, and that was it. I left the building at 11.

Every interview was pretty quick, I don't remember seeing someone being denied. There was some people that needed to submit more documents, but they said they would be approved after sending it. There was one case in particular that the doctor forgot to fill out some forms in her sealed package. So the embassy would have to call the doctor to make sure everything was okay. The COs were encouraging people to take the vaccines here in Brazil as well, if they haven't taken in the medical appointment.

@Greenbaum Everything was fine with my scanned affidavit form. They don't require it to have a wet signature.

Hi guys.. I did the interview yesterday in Rio and was very good, approval.

I arrived before the time of my appointment and have many people’s inside already.  First need to check the documents (Remember take all the documents that show on the web skate and a copy of the passport or birthday certificate of fiancé) and after You will to the interview: The questions was fast and easy like how You meet.. when You meet..

@Faisal

OBS: Make the check list before flight to Rio and put all the documents in the past to take to the interview.. Have people’s that forgot the exams from the doctor and another the criminals - have the computer to print inside (You will be nervous and anxious already, so don’t forget nothing)..

Also guys take just the necessary to the embassy, there You can go inside with Big Backpack or bag, the phone was need to pay R$ 10,00 to each phone outside with the people there.

I need to know how many months call logs will be enough to print in evidence because i have only call logs from nov 2018 and chatting from 2017 jan . Wondering how many prints will be enough?

I also make sure to collect all documents and make sure everything is fine from chapeco

They require no proof of relationship at the interview, according to the checklist they give us before the interview. But, of course, that doesn't mean you can't take them with you. I only took with me like two screenshots of whatsapp for every two months after the petition was filed, since I already sent chats for before that. They didn't ask for anything. And didn't hear they asking for anybody else.

This is the checklist, as you can see, there's no proof of relationship.

Congratulations to @Ayrton and @Moraesm on your approvals!!!

If you don't mind...are you having your passport/visa delivered to your house or are you picking it up? And how soon did you receive it? Thank you! :)

I couldn't get it delivered to my place because I live in a countryside city of Sao Paulo, and they wouldn't delivery to my CEP. So I selected to pick up at CASV in Sao Paulo, and a friend picked up and mailed it to me. I'm getting it tomorrow.

Interview: 03/26

Issued: 03/28

Ready to be picked up at Sao Paulo CASV: 04/03

When you say issued does that mean when the status changed to issued on the website?
