Getting to ready to remove my conditions and have a couple of questions.

We bought a house as the green card processed so i'm not on the mortgage, but the problem is that we have a po box. We live in the country so the post office does not deliver to our house. Should i include a letter form the post office regarding this? everything is listed to the po box.

The evidence:

401k - beneficiary

employment letter

joint bank account & savings

2 joined Cc's

2 years of tax returns

health insurance

car insurance

Good enough? process have been so smooth so far and it kinda feels stupid getting involved in it again when you have a good job and house, but hey it is what it is.

lots of people have PO Boxes as their mailing address. i imagine the application asks for physical address AND mailing address.  your home insurance and tax statement should show the physical address, even if its mailed to the po box, just as your id or drivers license would show the physical address.

Those are pieces of good evidences. However, I would personally add a little bit more documents to support filing.

Perhaps you can organize them this way and add if you could the following documents to strengthen your case:

A. Proof of Joint Residence:

-since you have no lease, you can probably get a notarized letter explaining why you are not on the mortgage but have been living together at the same address. You can draft this yourself and go to a bank or ups for notary ($10)

-add both your licenses or state ids to show same address

-add any joint utility bills (ex. phone, electricity, internet, water, etc.)

-add joint home insurance

B. Joint Financial Records:

-strong evidence: Joint Tax Transcripts of the past two years

-strong evidence: Joint checking and/or savings accounts with transaction pages. Important: dated from marriage (if possible) to latest. You can supply quarterly or bi monthly statements.

-add joint bank cards (credit or debit cards). You can block off the last four digits for security while showing that the first few digits are the same indicating same account.

C. Other Evidences of Joint Responsibility:

-401k (showing the other as beneficiary)

-joint health insurance

-joint car insurance

(same thing, as much as possible, make sure it spans or covers the past two years)

D. Other Evidences of Relationship:

-add greeting cards sent to both of you

-add joint travel evidences if any

-add two sworn affidavits from friends/family

-pictures

Hope these suggestions help. Wish you the best!
