or unable to save. you're downing a whole bunch of trump supporters with this statement. working class ain't doin so hot.

First of all I said only people who want to live on a diet of alpo would CHOOSE to be content with social security. Also when I said I would make an exception to that for disabled people and such that encompasses people who are unable to save. Finally your implication that working class people can't save for retirement is simply false. My family is working class and we are doing pretty well with our retirement investments. It's all about budgeting, living within your means and putting a large enough amount of your income into retirement. If you choose not to do that because it isn't easy or you want to take on debt for things you can't afford and don't need in my opinion you are just foolish and lazy.

no one said political agreement is blind worship.

no evidence that trump is currently those things, but plenty of evidence that he wants to be.

No one?

Heck, we hear these stories all the time.  Of Trump and the past four presidents, I am sure all of them had some thoughts of being all powerful and in many cases we have examples of them actually practicing these desires.  So far, as you stated, there is no evidence that Trump is doing this.  Is Trump an egotist, sure, does he want people to like him, sure, is he someone that doesn't back down from a fight, sure, will he make missteps, sure, they all do or did.  I am just completely flabbergasted over this unhealthy hatred of Trump and the constant political attacks he has to face.  Even Bush did not see this level of personal hatred.

right, no one said that.

see trump's quote from the op.

what flabbergasts me is that i hated bush, and trump has actually made me look back on the bush era fondly. i sort of miss the ol dummy. i'd take a bush anyday over trump. trump is not a good person, he never has been. that's why all the 'personal hatred'

Interesting, I always get lambasted for taking responses out of context.  I am not sure I actually said the Trump presidency would be a stain on the US.  Considering how the US public has become so tolerant of a president politicizing agencies like the IRS, FBI, CIA, EPA, etc., I am not sure Trump can do anything so outrageous to enlarge the stain from the past administration.  Maybe it is not hatred in the MDL, but fear that Trump will do the same thing with his time in office.  The IRS can be a powerful tool for attacking your political enemies.

Lambasted? You are taking that out of context. You only get admonished.
