Hi all,

Did anyone preciously call USCIS for I-129F that was outside normal processing times? What happenend later

My case is 1 day after normal time so I called USCIS and the immigration guy did a special request for me and said in the coming 15 days you will receive a mail explaining why your case is still pending or you might get approval too.

Just want your feedback

Thanks in advance

For example

Processing
Estimates/Stats :
Your I-129f was approved in 217 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 260 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

We were originally estimated to get our approval in September of 2017. Over time, that got pushed back and pushed back. Then we finally got a steady 'estimate' of the second week of January. Our actual NOA2 was Feb 8 2018.

There are LOTS of people going through the same thing as you are. You don't have a timeline, so it's hard to help you pinpoint when your NOA2 would realistically appear.

Have people in September/October/November already received their NOA2?

I'm on here and another group on FB, I have seen some Feb 18 Filers are getting NOA2's.

Just hold on, hopefully it will be coming soon.

Hi Charlie,

You should fill your timeline out  - http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/intro.php?cfl=

Then you will get a BETTER idea of when to get your NOA2.

We applied in July 2017. I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, the wait is real and it is just crappy.

Yep. There were people after us last summer that saw LOTS of people in future months get approved. It's normal and happens every year!

Did you expedite or have outstanding circumstances, by chance?

Edit: This person is waiting on their NOA2 for their K-1. You're talking about AOS, which is great that you had such a short processing time, but you applied for your K1 back in 2016 which had MUCH shorter times and isn't really relevant to how it is now, unfortunately.

Yes. I was in the same situation last year. My I 129f was out of USCIS “standard processing times” and I called and made an inquiry. I was told the same thing you were about hearing something within two weeks. I received the NOA2 within those two weeks followed by an update online stating my inquiry had been closed.
