Hi All,

Last time i left the US my carrier made a mistake and didn't log me as being on the flight so my i-94 only shows a entry and not a exit for that trip. The carrier has admitted there was a mistake and have a letter from the confirming i traveled the route but they're unable to have my exit logged after the fact, the letter is pretty basic so unsure how 'official' it is. But we do have:

- Stamp in my passport on the date i returned when i arrived through immigration here

- Boarding pass for that journey

- Boarding passes & pictures from a trip my fiance made here since that trip to the US

I will also be making another trip to the US mid next month so will have a new entry and (hopefully) exit record, Ideally we don't want to have to wait for mid next month just to get these as we're almost ready to submit.

So my questions are:

1. I would prefer to submit it as reinforces the evidence of our time together but is the i-94 for myself necessary to submit? Will they do their own search for my entries/exit anyway (we're submitting my passport with stamps anyway so they'll have the info available to do this).

2. Would this be an issue/flag if we submit and they see the printed record only has a entry for my last trip?

3. If we do submit do you think we should point out the error from the carrier and reference and submit the supporting info?

4. Is it worthwhile waiting for my next trip to be finished so that I have a closed off record?

Many thanks!!

Since several countries rarely stamp and I94s aren't always even issued (depending on where you are from I think), i honestly wouldnt worry about it. trust me, they have access to the records that verify your arrivals and departures ;)  Submit your stuff with the letter and I imagine it will be fine.  At this stage they basically want to confirm you have met at least once in 2 years. at the interview stage you can provide more info.
