Question about translate

Hi everyone i have a little question do i need to translate our facebook conversation in english because we talk in tagalog ? if the american consule look at it was a tagalog convo .Thanks and appreciate

From page 2 of the Form I-129F instructions:

Translations. If you submit a document with information in a foreign language, you must also submit a full English translation. The translator must sign a certification that the English language translation is complete and accurate, and that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign language into English. The certification should also include the date, the translator’s signature and printed name, and may contain the translator’s contact information.

you dont need to include messages at all, unless you are woefully short on other evidence, in which case you might have bigger issues.  they want to see proof of MEETING (within the last 2 years). boarding passes, hotel receipts, photos (especially in front of identifiable landmarks), passport stamps, etc

Yes you do. Honestly it doesn't have to be a ton of messages. We sent with the I-129f petition about 10-15 screen shots of Imessages to show a timeline of communication and couple original emails when we met.

 

At the interview supplied another 10-15 screen shots showing continuing timeline.

 

And yes, they do actually scan through the messages, they asked a couple questions about things said in them so.

You can take some in for the interview and yes, they have to be translated to English.
