Case complete at NVC 24/02/2018 - after a checklist.  PD June 6 2016.  Interview notification rcd on 30 April 2018.

Interview date 21/06/2018.

After receipt of IL - I waited till 1st week of June to do the medicals - reason being they can expire if you do them too early.  Did medicals at IOM Nrb on 4th & 6th June.

It is a two days process.  I did obtain some vaccines beforehand to save on costs.  Medicals turned out fine.

My time for interview was 6.30am. Got there around 6am and there was already a queue outside. There was no order outside and some people who had their interviews at 7am.. were in the queue before me but it doesnt really matter.

after security check, you get inside and pick your number and wait for your turn.  First screening by a local lady - checking if docs are okay, few questions - who petitioned? previous marital status, your petitioners taxes  - she also checks if all docs are in order - and collects the passports and takes finger printing. ( I did not have his 2017 taxes - but I submitted w44 which she accepted)

Then, you go out again and wait for your turn to the consular.  Waited for about 20 minutes and I was called.

She was very friendly, Questions: Who has petitioned? was he married before? when did you meet for the first time? when did he last come home? how many kids do you have? where does he stay? Then a thorough look at the documents - too many - then a look at some charts on her wall - as she types - Then she says everything looks fine. am relieved.

I am a DV lottery 2019 winner currently doing my medical, I need clarification on the forms my sponsor is required to fill, the information varies on the website and the consular emails. Is it the I - 864 or the I -360? Also, after printing and filling the forms, does my sponsor send the physical form or can he scan.

How many years of IRS Tax Transcripts are required?

Are you sure you need an affidavit? If you're doing medical then you already have an interview set up and your case is complete. Did they request an affidavit from the embassy?

Hi. Glad your process is over and done with!!! Congrats.

You said you obtained some vaccines beforehand to save on costs.

1. Where did u get them done and which ones did you get?

2. How much did you eventually pay at IOM for one person?

3. What is the process after you arrive in the U.S, once you meet customs?

4. How did u apply for your SSN?
