pkt 3 question - Egypt

Hi...hubby just told me that it says on his pkt 3 instructions that he needs to pay DHL $100 for the delivery of the pkt to the US.

Does this sound right? That's a LOT of money to an Egyptian....about 550 pounds. I think he read it wrong but wanted to double check with you guys. Plus why does he send the pkt 3 to the US??

I know he pays $100 to the CIB bank and gets the receipt from it... and i know he pays for a pre address and stamped dhl envelope... and no he doesnt send the packet 3 to US ... it goes to American Embassy... girl... he should fax u the papers he got so u can read it and help him in what to do ! bcz u want to do it all right the first time... or else it gets delayed longer !!!

No kidding!!! When he holds it up to the cam I can barely see it. He needs to figure out where he can get this thing scanned so he can email it to me.

Thanks though, that makes a LOT more sense about the CIB bank. What is that money for exatly, do you know? Can he walk the packet to the embassy? He lives pretty closeby.

The $100 to CIB bank i believe it is the "payment of the visa" whether or not the visa will be given later. Make sure he gets the receipt for it and puts it in packet 3. No he can not walk it to the embassy. Its not allowed. It must be sent thru DHL and they can give him a tracking number to make sure it got there. He can go to a cyber i think to get the packet 3 papers scanned or faxed to you. My husband actually faxed me the packet 3 papers so i could read it all and make sure he did it right. After the interview he scanned the paper from the Embassy telling us we are in AP. I suggest for the packet 3 info that he FAX it to u.
