Employment Authorization Card renewal with Advanced Parole

Hello there!

 

I was hoping I could get some help concerning my Employment Authorization Card [I-765] (combo card with Advanced Parole [I-131]).

I got married last year on a K-1 Visa and am waiting for new info about my adjustment of status.

My EAD/AP combo card expires in September and I have a trip outside the US planned in October.

I have recently gotten a job so I need to make sure my authorization is not interrupted, but I am not sure about what I am supposed to do.

 

I would like to know what information I need to put down in my "Immigration status" (AoS ?) on form I-765 on question 24/25, and what my "Class of Admission" is for question 6 of for I-131, please?

 

Also, am I supposed to pay a fee again for the whole procedure?

I have the same questions!

I sent in a packet for renewal to the Lees Summit address with new photos, I-765 & 131, copy of SS card, copy of EA And AP card.

Got a letter and the packet back 6 WEEKS LATER, saying they do not process it there (funny, thats where I sent original). Did not tell me where to send it, only referred to web site where I didn't see any info for sending in the 1st place.

Now I read I need to send fee in again!

 

Is this true?

Where do I send the info packet to?

Make sure that you file asap. The NOA you'll receive will have an automatic 180 day extension to your Employment Authorization.

Please attach a copy of your I-485 NOA and your fee will be waived.

@azmarkd You should not have to pay the fee again if you attach your I-485 NOA copy.

Hey @little immigrant thank you so much for your reply (and sorry for mine being late!).

 

The information you provided lines up with an older article I had saved. I ended up sending my packet and got an approval email so it seems I did everything right.

 

Thank you for your help. I hope other people can find this thread and get the info they need if they fall into the same situation I'm in!
