Hello Everyone,

I think that interview notice will be coming soon due to user defined error that just showed up.

When we submitted our application both me (beneficiary) and my wife (USC) were W-2 employees. At the moment we are both independent contractors (I just got a job offer and waiting for background checks. When it clears, I should be able to use my income for sponsorship). We have made much more than 25K at this point in 2018. We do not have proof through independent contracting to show (other than bank statements and images of checks) that my wife makes 25K (I believe that for this you need previous year tax returns).

My questions:

1) Do we need to get a sponsor/co-sponsor? (If so, how do I update all this info?)

2) Does it look bad that we are both on 1099 now? (I almost have a job since my background checks are in process but until I start it I still do not have it)

Last may, I was going a bit too fast on the highway in VA (worst place to get caught) and I was charged with reckless driving which is Class 1 misdemeanor. My court date is coming up soon. I have had clean record and this is the only ever violation. There is a good chance that it can be dropped to a speeding ticket. Regardless of the outcome:

1) Do I have to disclose the fact that I was charged with misdemeanor during the interview?

2) If so, what is the process to do so and how to do it? (Do I need to bring updated I-485 and police reports and etc?)

I would highly appreciate help with this matter.
